Filming of Forum meetings
Lee Short, as a member of the public, addressed the Forum at their November meeting regarding video recording of the meetings. Staff were requested to report back on options at the next meeting. Consequently, Council officers have recommended this request be denied, “unless determined otherwise by the Chairperson in accordance with the Standing Orders and existing Amendments thereto”. See agenda item 11.
Sea Change Plan update
Last November the government announced its support for Sea Change. Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage and Fisheries Minister Stuart Nash announced the establishment of a Ministerial Advisory Committee to play a key role in implementing the Plan.
