This is a reminder that the Democracy Action 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, 16 August 2026, commencing at 2:00 pm.

Cox's Bay Pavilion
44–66 West End Road
Westmere, Auckland

Attached are:

• the draft AGM agenda, and
• the open minutes of last year's AGM.

Under our Constitution, the Society is required to elect a Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you would like to nominate yourself or another member for one of these positions, please let me know. If you would like to discuss what is involved, Lee would be happy to answer any questions. He can be contacted on 09 553 4822.

Following the formal business of the AGM, Professor Elizabeth Rata will give a short presentation.

We will then take a short break before reconvening for our August Working Group meeting. All AGM attendees are very welcome to stay for this session. If you would like to attend, please let me know, and I'll send you a copy of the Working Group agenda in advance.
